Gardens & Gables uses organic practices to create and sustain a healthy landscape. No harmful chemicals or pesticides are ever used, ensuring the safety of children and pets and protecting the environment. We use recycled and sustainable building materials whenever possible and avoid use of products made from hazardous materials or non renewable resources.

We give back to the community through volunteering.
In keeping with our commitment to community and education, Gardens & Gables has contributed to the master landscaping plan for Tamalpais High School, given Arbor Day presentations in local schools, and maintains a public roadside planting in San Rafael. We have participated in the construction of a teaching garden at Gallinas Elementary School and have given several informational seminars for Sloat Nurseries, the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, and the Marin Master Gardeners.
